To work in The Pulmonary Function as a Band 6 PhysiologistDuties that needs be carried out:
Laboratory and Sleep Diagnostics
Able to carry out:
Spirometry/flow volume loops and reversibility
Lung volumes by helium dilution and plethysmography
Single breath transfer factor
MIPs and MEPs
FENO
Ear lobe capillary blood gases
Methacholine challenge testing
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
Overnight oximetry instruction, downloading and reporting
Limited polysomnography, downloading and reporting
CPAP trial and set up
Instruction of mask fitting and routine maintenance of CPAP
Also calibration and disinfection of equipment. Stock control.
This post will be for 8 months with a great possibility of being extended.
