You should have the following skills and experience
Development, Implementation & Deployment
- Strong - Design, develop and maintain application programs utilising Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong - T-SQL & SSIS development experience
- Strong - Develop store procedures for extract, transform and load into Excel based spreadsheets for upload into SAP
- Strong - Develop in the Microsoft .NET framework and tools
- Good working knowledge of Quality Center
- Strong SQL experience
- Strong data migration experience
- Large system migration experience
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft and SAP Payroll data conversions highly regarded
- Practitioner of SDLC principles
- Practitioner of strong code and release management practises
- Ability to work effectively within a structured software engineering environment
- Strong disciplines in defect management and the use of defect management tools such as Quality Center
- Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
- Experience using; CSS, HTML, Java, Javascript. Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
- At least 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server/SQL development
- 10+ years experience in software development
- Ability to set and manage priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent service oriented approach
- Ability to work well under pressure
