You should have the following skills and experience

Development, Implementation & Deployment

  • Strong - Design, develop and maintain application programs utilising Microsoft SQL Server  
  • Strong - T-SQL & SSIS development experience
  • Strong - Develop store procedures for extract, transform and load into Excel based spreadsheets for upload into SAP
  • Strong - Develop in the Microsoft .NET framework and tools
  • Good working knowledge of Quality Center
Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Strong data migration experience
  • Large system migration experience
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and SAP Payroll data conversions highly regarded
  • Practitioner of SDLC principles
  • Practitioner of strong code and release management practises
  • Ability to work effectively within a structured software engineering environment
  • Strong disciplines in defect management and the use of defect management tools such as Quality Center
  • Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
  • Experience using; CSS, HTML, Java, Javascript. Desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
  • At least 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server/SQL development
  • 10+ years experience in software development
