My client is a global and highly respected company. They are in the process of moving their IT support including all data storage hardware and software
The successful candidate will aid in the transition, helping in the build and maintenance of the new data storage hardware and software. Day to day duties will include the monitoring and operation of backups and replication jobs. You will also be responsible for the building, maintenance, patching, compliance, decommissioning and disposal of storage related hardware.
The successful applicant will have in depth knowledge of NetApp or a similar product, and be familiar with High-availability clusters and Nearstore technologies. Good knowledge of EMC Data domain disk arrays (including replication and BOOST Technology) will be useful.

The role is initially a one year contract although is likely to be extended.
