Some responsibilities of the Oracle DBA
Write consistent, reliable, maintainable an code and have a strong background in Oracle database development.
Take ownership for the design and development of elements of the system and facilitate necessary review sessions
This delivery oriented candidate must be able to respond to rapid change working in a fast paced Agile environment and demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills while producing value added results.
Proactively communicate with QA, developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to project implementation
Will be required to provide accurate and timely status reporting with Manager, including issues prohibiting progress when appropriate
Skills
- Oracle environment DBA rack, 10/11G/partitioning experience and backups,
- fixed, mobile, ISP, and managed services
- Understand what they are doing, dealing with critical applications and development
