Office Manager

Salary: £26k 12 month FTC with a view to go perm

Location: London

A Computer Software company are currently looking for an experience, robust Office Manager to join their team.

The Office Manager will be responsible for the overall management of one of the offices based in Bedfordshire.

The Office Manager will report to the EA of the CTO and you will be responsible for the day to day running of the office including the reception desk, providing administration support to customers, colleagues and the UK Managing Director

It is essential that the Office Manager must have at least 3 years experience working within a fast paced environment and have experience dealing with Facilities Managers.

Responsibilities for the Office Manager:

  • Managing the main switchboard, dealing with telephone enquiries and requests from a wide range of customers and colleagues.
  • Day to day maintenance of the office and office services, ensuring that office-related issues such as maintenance, furniture, access and visitors are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues and heads of function, engineers and contractors.
  • Overseeing and coordination of the office layout, furniture and IT infrastructure.
  • Time management; work to strict deadlines, restrictions and complete target driven tasks
  • Curator of Health and Fire safety, managing first aiders and regular fire testing.

Requirements for the Office Manager

  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office are essential, Outlook being the key competency.
  • Experience in a customer and client facing role desired.
