Financial Analyst
We currently have an urgent requirement for a Management account to work for a financial services company in bristol, We are looking for an individual who is used to working within the financial services in a fast changing environment and has experience of carrying out MI for senior Managers and has extensive experience of Budgeting/Forecasting and project work.
Financial Analyst duties:
Responsibilities
- Creation of timely and accurate portfolio MI reports for the senior management and the Central Business Change Service team
- Support the delivery of portfolio small change work items
- Monitor and record significant portfolio issues and risks as well as supporting the delivery of risk mitigation and issue management
- Create and maintain key document templates to ensure a consistent approach is maintained across the programmes and projects within the portfolio and all necessary version controls and baselines are in place
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to enable senior managers and Project Managers to confidently make informed, strategic decisions
- Review and challenge project plans, forecasts and documentation to ensure alignment with departmental and group requirements and guidelines
- Undertake other activities that support personal development and building of effective working relationships with internal partners and stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel with an ability to create & analyse medium complexity spreadsheet solutions
- Good communication, organisation and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
