Implementation Project Manager required for a fixed-term contract based in Chesire.

As the Implementation Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the implementation of a workstream within a complex BPO transition programme that has an aggressive timeline for the delivery of its objectives. In addition the role will require an individual to provide support across other workstreams within the programme, including business operations, infrastructure and IT.

This will involve working under the direction of a programme lead, in a high pressure environment, as well as oversight of the delivery of outputs by the 3rd party suppliers. In addition, the individual may be required to take on line management of certain project resources. Some travel within the UK would be required, with possible occasional overnight stays.

Experience, Skills and/or Educational Requirements
* Prior experience of delivering project in a residential mortgages business (preferably migrations) is essential.
* Experience of leading both technical and operational (ie processes ) projects or migration and implementation of new systems within the FS sector is also essential. Pure consultancy experience that did not involve active management of projects will not meet the required criteria.
* Experience of managing projects involving suppliers, including cost management
* Either practical knowledge or a qualification in a recognised project management standards (eg PRINCE" PMBOK) is desirable.
* Experience working in a high pressure environment, managing multiple concurrent deliverables against tight deadlines
* Positive outlook and a clear focus on delivery, quality, assertive, reliable, tolerant, determined and empathic communicator able to communicate at all levels.
* Competent writer of reports to the required level of detail for the intended audience.
* Adaptable and able to function in a highly controlled and objective/deadline driven high pressure environment
* Experience of leading people to achieve the objectives of change/project
* Ability to present issues in a clear and concise manner, via the most appropriate media.
* Good knowledge of planning tools and techniques and ability to critically assess impact of changes to a project or operation.
* Good understanding of technical migrations, as well as operational environments in relation to mortgage administration
* Competent in use of MS Office particularly excel, word and Powerpoint, MS Project.
* Has familiarity with the FSA regulations
