We are currently seeking an Lvl 3 System's Administrator to join an exciting contract opportunity. This Role will suit a senior System's Administrator that's been working within a HP background.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As a senior systems administrator you will be responsible for providing level 3 hardware/software supports 24X7X365.

Job duties may include:
* Provide technical leadership on managing distributed system platforms, including server and storage architecture, design, and maintenance;
* Provide technical expertise and leadership in network architecture and design;
* Provide technical expertise and leadership in our core systems, including: Network, Storage, VMware, and Enterprise Microsoft Applications (Exchange, OCS, SQL, SharePoint)
* Ensure that all systems are adhering to all GDOL policies, especially those related to information security;
* Ensure that there is system documentation for all systems, including technical diagrams, technical specifications, and support plans;
* Ensure that all work requests are properly handled, communicated, and completed to user expectations;
* Work closely with Management to set strategic architectural direction for the distributed systems environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be given to applicants who, in addition to the above Minimum Qualifications, also possess one or more of the following:
* 5+ years of design experience in a Cisco network environment with a solid understanding of LAN/WAN design, WAN routing protocols, VLANs;
* 3+ years of VMware design, configuration, and administration experience;
* 3+ years of enterprise storage architecture and design experience;
* 5+ years of with enterprise with enterprise Microsoft applications (Exchange, OCS, SQL, SharePoint);
* 3+ years of enterprise backup system design/configuration/administration;
* 3+ years of technical project management on enterprise project implementations;
* Certification's in Microsoft and Cisco is highly recommended .

Associate's degree in a related field AND five years of related experience,5 years experience supporting mission critical datacenter environments,Copper and fibre infrastructure knowledge and experience with fault finding and diagnostics skills, Solid understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4, L2/L3 forwarding, Firewalls, Quality of Service, L4-7 switching, Strong familiarity with x86 hardware platforms, large scale storage arrays, and carrier class network gear.
