Amoria Bond is currently looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to operate on the entire project life cycle from design and implementation through to operational support for a client in The Netherlands
As a Cisco Network Engineer you will be operating on multiple projects across The Netherlands. These projects will expose you to a number of brand new technologies including Cisco Nexus Switches plus many others.
Main Duties include
Design, implementation, operation and enhancement of existing and future network topology
Network performance analysis, optimisation and liaison with providers
Liaison with technical staff to provide best practice usage, escalation and problem resolution
Designing and provisioning secure network architectures
Skills and experience:
CCNP/CCNA Certified
Experience of designing, building and operating sophisticated WAN and DC networks using BGP, OSPF and MPLS
Highly proficient Advanced Cisco routing and switching with 6500, 7600 and Nexus (desirable) infrastructure
Hands on experience of Firewalling and network security preferably with Checkpoint and/or ASA
Experience of monitoring and optimising networks using standard tools
Excellent written and verbal communications
You should be a confident and a Cisco Network Engineer with strong experience of designing, implementing and operational support of complex enterprise networks.
This role will last for last for at least 12 months, will be based in Rotterdam and the client would ideally like someone to start by 1st April 2012.
