Credit Control Administrator - SAP
4 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £22,000 - £24,700 per annum + Benefits
A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced Credit Control Administrator for a 4 month fixed term contract based in Farnborough. You will be Responsible Credit Control process, your primary focus will be the timely collection of debts in a manner to maintain good customer service.
Adherence to quality processes, procedures & policies to secure delivery of professional Credit management services will be a key part to this role. This will include proactive interaction with all parties involved in the process including sales personnel and the customer.
Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-defined collection programmes based upon classification of accounts as follows:
- Sensitive Accounts - pro-active pre due date cash collection techniques designed to develop goodwill & ensure payment to agreed terms. Where no valid reason for non-payment, recommend and agree collection action with Senior Management team.
- Non-Sensitive - initiate dunning processes on the system with empowerment to place accounts on hold. Commencement of litigation can only occur after referral to the Credit manager.
- To manage the age debt analysis and forecasting tools on a weekly & monthly basis and agree cash collection targets with Team Leader/Manager
- Via use of dunning blocks, provide information to generate the provisions for bad debts & credit notes
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable & relevant Credit Control experience, preferably gained within more than one industry.
- Commercially aware with a proven track record in cash collections techniques
- Basic Accounts knowledge
- Good interpersonal & relationship building skills
- SAP R3
- SAP super user
- Team Leader experience
- Migration and UAT testing experience
