We are currently recruiting an Operational Risk Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading Investment management firm with a superb reputation in the market. The role is initially offered as an 18 month fixed term contract.
You will be part of a team working across departments to investigate the cause of near miss and loss events. Working with people at all levels of the business you will prepare reports and recommend improvements for a range of stakeholders, delivering high quality work that has a direct effect on the continued success of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely updates to process maps, procedures manuals and risk maps
Devise and recommend process and control improvements necessary to reduce
operational risk
Undertake adhoc business risk reviews, advising on business processes, incident history and risk trends.
Liaise with staff and management at all levels in relation to risk management and the business environment.
Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of risk management techniques
Skills and Experience:
You will have a background in working in a service-delivery role and experience of working in risk and control would be advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective evidence based recommendations
The ability to deliver high quality results in advance of deadlines and to use a high standard of written English to produce clear and concise reports is also essential
A strong regard for accuracy and attention to detail is essential
