Our client is a large and complex government organisation, embarking on a very exciting and challenging phase in its evolution as a provider of core essential services to QLD.
We are looking for SAP Functional Consultant (Plant Maintenance/Project Systems) who could be part of the client's diverse team which is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that combine business processes with technology to help our client achieve the highest levels of performance. Senior SAP consultants play a leadership role on the project and are involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support.
The consultant must be able to work with end users on the SAP application's integration and functionality; determine those technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that can affect the functional area's ability to support or meet the organizational goals as well as lead enterprise applications integration efforts and oversee the validation of the associated work products.
Ideal candidates will have minimum 5 years working in SAP development and should have experience working on a minimum of 2 full software life cycle developments. The candidate needs to have depth and breadth in their core SAP expertise and experience in integration with an ERP environment.
Responsibilities:
- Experienced Senior SAP Plant Maintenance/Project Systems Consultant with integration to Asset management.
- Well rounded Skills in other SAP modules will be well regarded particularly PP/PS/SD/MM
- Design, configure and deploy SAP functionality
- Hands on experience in gathering business requirements, business process analysis, GAP analysis, and preparation of Proof of Concepts for delivering SAP solutions.
- Work from an existing template and manage scope
- Provide technical consulting and support to the project
- Provide knowledge transfer to the business representative is imperative
Skill Set
- Strong technical and business experience in the Plant Maintenance and Project Systems with integration to Assets module with 5 years configuration experience
- Experienced in the full project life cycle, including Blueprinting, Design, Technical, Integration, Testing, and Migration
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem solving skills
- Develop and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform business processes.
- SAP ERP 6 experience would be highly regarded
- Integration with Assets would be highly regarded
- Experience working in government environment with Prince2 methodology
- Financial experience and or qualification
- SAP certification would be highly regarded
