SAP SD Analyst - wanted - Immediately!
Fixed Term Contract role (salary Based role) Dublin - 12 months
Main purpose of job:
As a member of the Application Development Team, the successful candidate will work closely with the business managers, identifying, proposing and implementing process improvements in the business
In addition the successful candidate will be a key player, providing SAP SD 2nd level support to end-users.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
Support:
- Develop and support SAP functionality in the business, primarily in the area of Sales and Distribution. Production planning (PP) experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level SAP support for the local IT team.
- Provide subject expertise on project teams.
- Participate in systems and integration - design, analysis and testing.
- Work closely with local and Corporate SAP analysts in issue identification and resolution.
- Work closely with local and Corporate ABAP developers to identify reported system issues.
- Provide assistance in the development of business requirements specifications.
Technical Competencies:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar level of experience and knowledge.
- Relevant experience in SAP R/3 SD experience.
- Experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementation projects.
- Familiarity with other SAP modules such as PP, MM, FICO and integrated EDI applications will be an advantage.
- Strong configuration and technical skills.
- Work experience in a client facing role.
