About the Company/Position:
One of Sydney's leading Media organisations requires an experienced Windows Administrator to join their talented Operations Team. Acting as an escalation point, you will provide 3rd level support focusing on the Citrix and VMware Infrastructure.
Ideally this would suite a Mid Level Windows Administrator that has worked in an Enterprise environment. Preferably, this person will have commercial experience Supporting Citrix and VMware and an interest in developing there Career in the Citrix space.
This opportunity is initially 6 months contract with strong possibility of extensions. The rate on offer is very attractive and the starting day is as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and provide second and third level Support for the Citrix Environment
- Windows Server Administration
- VMware Support
- Liaise with users, vendors and management regarding business requirements; contribute to the review of project planning and implementation.
- Carry out project related tasks and minor works as directed by the Team Leader.
- Assist other teams within IT Support Services to meet emergent work priorities as required.
- Keep up to date with trends and latest technologies in the IT and broadcasting industry.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years experience supporting and maintaining Citrix (XenApp) Systems - Essential
- Experience administrating Windows Server Operating Systems - Essential
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and/or VMware - Desirable
