Need a 5 plus year QA Engineer with both manual testing as well as automated testing and test tool experience on trading applications. You will be testing applications on both Linux and the Windows platform. Must have strong SQL and PERL knowledge. Will have experience creating test plans, analysing requirements and documenting. Need full software development life cycle for testing.

Quality Assurance Engineer
o 5 years minimum QA experience (system, integration, functional, and regression testing of complex Client Server applications)
o 3 years minimum experience developing complex scripted tests using automated test tools such as QuickTest Professional, TestComplete, TestPartner, Rational Robot/Functional Tester, etc.
o Familiarity with testing applications and systems on Windows and Linux operating systems.
o Standard QA skills: ability to understand/analyze requirements and gather information when documentation is unavailable, create testplans/testcases, understanding of testing role in typical software development methodologies, setup/maintain software testing environments, ability to estimate completion time for tasks and communicate status to management, document/report defects and follow-through to resolution, risk analysis and test activity prioritization skills, etc.
o Working knowledge of SQL and Perl
o We value diverse software testing experience; that is, the testing of a variety of different types of software products, system architectures, OS platforms, languages, and frameworks.
o Excellent communications skills, problem solver, troubleshooter, work well independently and with a group, well-organized, attention to detail, and self-motivated.
o Trading industry experience is a significant plus
