Immediate Need: User Interface Designer w/Google WEB Toolkit (GWT) & Google Visualizations and HTML
Seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer with experience in Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Google Visualizations, HTML and other web-based technologies to develop User Interface (UI) for product prototypes and create rapid prototypes using JavaScript.
The User Interface Designer will to work closely with engineers and product managers to define the user model and user interface throughout all stages of the product cycle and for new and existing products and features.
Requires high level analytical ability with good design sense, strong technical backgrounds, and an eye for sleek and ergonomic user interface designs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of demonstrated technical experience in designing usable web-based User Interfaces (UI) to develop product prototypes using Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Google Visualizations, and HTML and other technologies plus use JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
Requires high level technical background in human-computer interaction or related field with a strong visual design sense.
Requires experience and talent around data visualization and BI reporting.
Experience required in developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for required changes.
Development of UI standards and frameworks for the applications team.
Setting and testing of usability standards for all products within the company.
Management and updates of electronic product documents within company's content management systems.
Effective technical expertise required combined with excellent communication skills to help define the user model and user interface for new and existing products and features.
Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
EDUCATION: (BS or MS in Computer Science or related field a big plus.)
LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio
START DATE: ASAP Immediate start date March 12, 2012 or March 19, 2012 or sooner.
CONTRACT: 4 + MONTHS with potential for additional prototype design development.
Hourly Rate: Open.
