Description:
This position requires 80-90% travel.
MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
VzW will provide company vehicle. VzW Gas card will provided.
VzW will provide a laptop and cell phone.
Must have STREET ATLAS or Delorme experience.
This position is responsible for performing competitive assessment of key cellular/PCS competitors using AMPS, CDMA, TDMA, and GSM technologies.
This includes collecting baseline data; post processing data; generating plots and reports utilizing a standardized company reporting tool; and analysing Comarco baseline data.
Other responsibilities include:
Conducting data collection with tools such as DataPro and assisting System Performance Engineers in analysing the collected data for the purpose of improving system quality; working closely with System Performance Engineers to resolve customer complaints by performing specific data collection, Call Detail Record (CDR) search batch, drive testing, post processing, and plot/report generation; ensuring all test equipment is functional and calibrated on periodic basis, as well as making recommendations on future equipment configurations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Providing guidance and support to the Associate Technician; Baseline and performing all maintenance related to the Comarco equipment.
Associates or Technical degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
2+ years of wireless financial analysis experience or extensive knowledge and understanding of wireless industry trends and key business drivers.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of technical, regulatory, and legal terminology of the functional processes.
