Software Engineer (Android):
Job Function:
Join a team working on leading edge Bluetooth technologies for mobile phone platforms. Will be working on developing, integrating and maintaining Bluetooth Middleware, stack and profiles on Android and other operating systems running our clients chip. Candidate will also be actively involved in supporting the existing profiles through enhancements, bug fixes and feature additions.
Skills/Experience
- 3+ years of development experience on Embedded systems on any high level OS
- 2+ years of development experience on Android/Linux
- Experience designing and developing complex software modules
- Very good problem solving, programming and debugging skills with proficiency in C/Java is mandatory
- Familiarity with concepts and principles of networking protocols
- Must be self motivated, good team player and able to work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Working closely with the system test team, candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of the Bluetooth stack and profile solutions and will help drive Bluetooth technology from bring up all the way to commercialization on customer platforms.
