An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Marketing Manager to embark on a 6 month Fixed-Term contract with one of our large, Guildford based clients.

The Employed Consultant Division within Elan Computing, Europe's leading IT&T supplier, has an opportunity for a Marketing Manager to start ASAP. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for Elan Computing on a Fixed Term Contract basis and to work on a specific "Assignment" to our clients.

The Marketing Manager will work with the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and marketing delivery colleagues to develop detailed integrated marketing plans to meet marketing objectives and demonstrate return on investment
The Marketing Manager role sits within a Matrix structure and is part of the Marketing Delivery Team. The jobholder will need to be flexible to work across programme(s) of work and manage numerous projects simultaneously as determined by organisational priorities. The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the marketing campaigns they are allocated to are delivered successfully (on time, to quality, and within budget) and demonstrate return on investment.

Key Accountabilities
* Work with the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and marketing delivery colleagues to develop detailed integrated marketing plans to meet marketing objectives and demonstrate return on investment.
* Ensure marketing campaigns are well planned, managed, monitored and reported on a weekly basis. Use project management and scheduling software (such as MS Project) to provide management information on project statuses, schedules, risks and issue management, resource allocation and spend.
* Manage multiple campaigns across diverse channels and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. Maximise the use of available resource through effective allocation of internal and external resources.
* Commission internal or external suppliers as required. Monitor and evaluate supplier delivery against brief and take action as necessary to ensure work is completed to a professional standard, on time and to agreed budget.
* Monitor and evaluates campaign and marketing activities, this includes any evaluation of external suppliers and competitor activities. Make recommendations regarding the timings and content of campaigns to ensure campaigns are based on customer experience and insights, delivered in an effective and timely manner and maximise return on investment.
* Maintain awareness of customer behaviour and identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future marketing activities from lessons learned.
* Produce financial forecast for marketing campaigns, manage budgets and financial records accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications/Experience required
Essential
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification and/or significant relevant experience in marketing
* Indepth knowledge of marketing planning and techniques to drive growth
* Ability to lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of complex marketing campaigns and plans to either retain, grow market share or launch new products
* Ability to consult and influence key stakeholders on marketing activity required to achieve objectives, demonstrating excellent facilitation and negotiation skills to produce desired outcomes
* Set challenging targets and support staff to achieve them
* Successful track record in developing market strategies into tactical integrated marketing plans
* Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and assessing impact and return on investment
* Experience of leading market and customer insight driven development of marketing plans
* Experience of working in a demanding customer led environment gained in either a commercial or an educational sector.
* Experience of procurement practices and supplier management
* Experience in budget monitoring, management and financial reporting
