Description
One of our major client is looking for a Mainframe Developer to work in their Canberra location.
Your responsibility:
- Design, construct and test software solutions in a TELON/Cobol/CA GEN 7.n or 8.n programming environment to meet the business requirements of the department
- Conducting analysis of functionality and data issues
- Deliver and maintain technical documentation
- Deliver technical solutions to IT problems and issues
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 Years experienced in Cool:Gen development
- Demonstrated experience in working in MVS/CICS/Cobol/DB2 Mainframe and LAN environments and associated Cool:Gen tools GuardEn 7.6, CSE clients, Build tools, CSE ferret, Construction Client
- Design of technical IT solutions
- Analysing production and data problems
- Providing business and IT solutions
