Consumer PR Manager - PR Manager, Public Relations, Consumer PR, Communications Manager
An exciting opportunity as a Consumer PR Manager for a leading communications company based in Berkshire. The role requires someone to deliver a best in class PR function and cut-through consumer campaigns, working with agencies and colleagues to deliver a consistent and compelling message and drive the company's reputation, particularly amongst the mainstream 'Early Majority' audience.
Key Skills:
* A strong background of in-house or agency Public Relations
* Proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns
* Excellent media relations skills
* A history of 'Consumerising' technology and targeting mainstream audiences
Key Responsibilities
* Your main responsibility will be to work closely with the retained PR agency and internal team to run a smooth and efficient press office function, ensuring a constant stream of positive coverage - reactive and proactive
* leading such things as creative storytelling, responding to media requests, handling customer issues, developing and maintaining relationships with the media, managing a device loans programme and drafting award entries
* You'll have some budgetary responsibility and will lead on communicating the team's results within the business
* This role will involve at least one day a week being in London.
