EDW Developer - Insurance/Financial Services - London, City

Atticus Associates deliver performance IT consulting solutions and project services to the London and Global Insurance Markets. As a result of rapid growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven EDW developer, with BI and DW experience to join the team on a contract basis. Working o n an insurance Datawarehouse development project, the successful candidate will be working closely with the Lead Analyst and to a rigorous plan and stated schedule of deliverables, including schemas (such as Star) and documentation.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Integration Services experience
  • SQL Server 2012
  • Transact SQL
  • Dimensional Datamodelling
  • Datawarehouse Datamodelling methodologies
  • Insurance Datawarehouse design, development and unit testing
  • Lloyd's Insurance market knowledge
  • Have the ability to perform well within very tight time and budgetary constraints,
  • Creation of functional specification documentation

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Cloud-based database deployment
  • Mobile reporting and analytical deployment
  • Insurance underwriting systems in the Lloyds and/or Company markets
  • Data migration between insurance underwriting systems
