One of my clients, a leading telco company, in Egypt is looking for a Senior SRAN Engineer with EXTENSIVE experience in NSN networks.
Min of 5 years' experience in the GSM field, including GERAN & UTRAN networks. mainly NSN
-High technical ability to investigate and solve QoS degradation due to swap actions.
-Capable to monitor network KPIs and detect all HW/SW problems affecting KPIs.
-Excellent reporting skills to prepare dashboard supported by useful analysis regarding the QoS status in swap areas
-Awareness of operational actions implementation procedures D2D activities, modification/change management process.
-Skilled at dealing with all NSN quality/operation tools (Ex:- NetAct and threshold & profile)
Qualifications:
- NSN 2G & 3G experience above 5 years.
- Understanding of both 2G & 3G network topologies.
- Able to perform all kind of operational actions on NetAct Radio Cluster.
- Able to extract, analyze and asses network KPIs.
- Able to deal with Threshold & Profiler alerts.
- Able to detect HW & SW issues and communicate it to field engineers & suppliers.
- Able to assist field engineers in field for taking corrective actions.
- Able to advice with needed parameters modification to enhance main KPIs.
- Having training abilities as well as Care experience are Bonus features.
- Capable of dealing fluently in English
Job Description:
Assess daily/weekly...etc. BSC/RNC and Site KPI's to ensure performance is meeting agreed SLA with vendor
Audit/review existing installed features, software, parameters and configurations setting to highlight mismatches, wrong configuration, expired licenses, none-optimal parameters
Generate periodic performance reports
Generate periodic recommendation reports in terms of capacity, performance enhancements etc
Act as the technical interface to vendor (NSN) in periodic meeting to highlight and raise performance issues including but not limited to hardware, parameters, features, software and performance
Challenge vendor in situation of bad performance backed-up by solid technical symptoms
Generate before and after swap/upgrade performance reports
Assess and review vendor used KPI's and reported performance values to ensure reliability of data and definitions used
