Our client located in Center City Philadelphia is looking for a UX Researhcer for a 4+ month contract position.

Position Description:

The UX Specialist works with design team members, product managers and developers, to create and improve the user interfaces of online products.

Responsibilities include: carrying out user research, creating personas, usability testing, and working with other designers and developers to get the user interface design recommendations implemented.

Requirements:

  • Lead the planning and execution of usability and other evaluative research for web and mobile products
  • Perform data collection, analysis, writing reports of research results and the presentation of findings to inform product design decisions
  • Develop user interface design recommendations based on research findings
  • Gathers information on user needs and goals (from user research or on their own)
  • Creating personas
  • Creating work streams for applications (web, apps)
  • Run testing sessions

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, cognitive psychology or related discipline required
  • 2-4 years related experience required (usability testing/product evaluation)
  • Experience working on web/software/multimedia development teams
