Description
My client, a leader in the financial services industry is looking for a Systems Admin on a three month contract basis. Client needs someone with System Administration experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Oracle Linux 5 and applying security best practices. At least basic or working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, and other Middleware Servers. Should be comfortable in navigating Linux file systems and editing files in vim or any console based text editor. General use knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
Considered nice to have, but not required is Business Analyst skills for interacting with other Business Analyst, Programmers, and other technical people. Skills in researching technical issues for troubleshooting or best practices would be a nice to have as well.
