Senior Project Manager - Integration
In this role, you will:
Managing Integration projects across all areas of the business with expectations of delivering value iteratively.
Serve as liaison to business and IT management, assuring adherence to the application development methodology, coordinating quality reviews of deliverables, and coordinating the allocation of resources.
Managae and Drive Design, development, and deployment activities on a project
Manage on-shore, offshore and consultants on a project
Provide weekly status to management including action plans for addressing any risks/issues, as appropriate, to ensure the project is on-schedule/on-budget.
Act as a fundamental driver of the project success, facilitating the resolution of day-to-day technical and project issues, and building consensus on solution and architecture.
Develop and implement communication plans, both within the project team as well as with business and IT senior leadership.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study and three to five years of previous experience with most of them being in the Business Intelligence or data warehousing space.
Preferred: Master's Degree
PMP certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:
10 + years of overall IT experience
5+ years of project management experience
5+ years of experience with Enterprise Bus Technologies, preferably webMethods, Oracle, JBoss
Delivered at least two long term (2+ years) integration projects integrating five or more applications
Managed a program or multiple projects simultaneously and managered 15 to 25 resources working on multiple projects
Experience in Multi-Site Development and on-shore/offshore model
Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile development methodologies
In-depth knowledge of essential technologies such as data integration, dimensional modelling or enterprise reporting and analysis is a must
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with business partners and all levels of the IT organization
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills and ability to manage resources in a Matrix organization
Ability to understand and make decisions based on business value at an enterprise level
Proven track record of managing customer expectations effectively, ensuring business partners stays engaged yet controlling scope
Good mentoring and motivational skills with ability to promote team work and develop effective working relationship within and between teams
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs along with ability to operate and promote an environment of teamwork.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Strong organization skills, ownership and accountability.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Preferred Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:
Experience with MicroStrategy, Qlikview, or other Business Intelligence products.
Familiarity with Informatica or other data integration technologies
Experience in Solution architecture and SW application development
