An excellent opportunity to be part of a large Oil and Gas operator that continues to expand its operations and work force in the UK. Candidates must have experience working within the Oil and Gas industry in particular within Instrument engineering. Candidates should also be Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

The Role:

* Provide Onshore support to the Offshore Operations team to facilitate effective maintenance and repair activities.
* Act as Offshore/Onshore focal point for performance monitoring and troubleshooting of Instrument systems.
* Identify and provide cost effective engineering solutions to platform operations and maintenance problems.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, improve reliability, and reduce operating costs.

Education:

* Related Engineering Degree or equivalent

Skills/Experience:

* Considerable experience of the oil and gas industry, predominantly gained in an engineering and production operations environment.
* Good working knowledge and application of relevant UK oil and gas industry regulations.
* Familiarity with quality processes and the application of continuous improvement tools is desirable.
* Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels and encourage a team ethos across core crew and subcontractors.
* Ability to work in a fast moving, customer focused environment whilst maintaining the highest ethical integrity.
* Computer literacy required on Windows based applications.
