Work closely with engineers, quality assurance personnel, shift leaders, and other process specialists in a Teamwork EnvironmentResponsible for monitoring 216 EA Manufacturing plant Quality Assurance
Implement/maintain standard operating procedures in accordance with ISO standards.
Conduct quality audits to identify improvements
Responsible for chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, WIP(Work Is Progress) product and waste material as well as interpreting, organizing and reporting of analytical data.
Responsible for dispositioning toner batches for final release to the customer
Maintain lab procedures; Test Methods, SOP(Standard Operating Procedures)
Propose and evaluate process changes to increase overall product quality and/or process yield.
Assist operations staff where needed for samples to insure accurate process control and suggest process adjustments based on Quality Assurance results and consultation with operations and engineering
Meet customer requirements to PMC (Process Manufacturing Change) and Manufacturing Quality Assurance sampling plans.
Report and prioritize lab equipment defects, troubleshoot as needed per procedures.
Perform required testing following established procedures, record and reports results.
Tabulate and analyze data and develop their graphic representation in SPC( Statistical Process Control)
Operate, calibrate, qualify and maintain laboratory instruments.
Maintain the laboratory facility and equipment in a clean, safe and productive manner.
Follow safety routines in all laboratory operation.
Perform all other tasks as required.
Read pertinent literature to maintain awareness and understanding of performed tasks.
Participate in the validation of QAS (Internal live database that is set up to automatically upload data to central database from the QA instruments) software relating to testing methods.
The EA Quality Assurance Technician should have a clear understanding of 6 Sigma & Lean principles.
Flexible and willing to work rotating 4x7 shifts: (4 days in a row at 12.5 hrs with hr unpaid lunch, then 4 days off ) then ( 4 nights in a row at 12.5 hrs with unpaid lunch) Required skills:

Able to demonstrate Computer literacy - knowledgeable/competent in MS Applications (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel)
Education:
Minimum-Associate in Science degree or Associate in Applied Science degree (Chemistry or Engineering Science preferred) Experience:
Prior laboratory experience desired
Knowledge in analytical methods including Particle Size, shape and morphology testing, pH, conductivity, % Solids, X-ray, Tribo, DSC, Large Particle testing per batch data to meet customer requirement.
Knowledge of chemical, mechanical and physical processes specific to EA operations
