Windows System Engineer - Web Applications (m/f)

Ihre Aufgaben:
- Manages on a day-to-day basis the customer facing applications and services to ensure the availability, performance and security of them. Responsible for continuous reviews of application and service capacity to ensure error-free operation.
- Key Relationships - Production Services, Infrastructure Services, Customer Services, Solution Services, CQR, Product Verticals.
- Support Releases, provide non-functional requirements and ensure reliable application operations methodologies (e.g. monitoring, capacity management, deployment).
- Support the application deployments, the components configuration and the maintenance of operational handbooks.
- Develop and maintain the deployment and monitoring toolset for the production services and associated applications
- Check frequently performance counters and log facilities to ensure adequate capacity management and proactive fault management
- Document Infrastructure, Architecture and Configuration Items within the assigned application environment
- Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and techniques in the area of responsibilities.
- Ensuring that IT services, processes and procedures are compliant with applicable regulations.
- Working in accordance with ITIL (incl. incident, problem, change management).
- Serving as key interface both to Development and to infrastructure IT.
- Fulltime.

Ihre Qualifikation
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Preferably strong application support experience in a large enterprise and with high-availability-systems
- Server technologies; Windows (Windows Server )
- Web Server technologies; .net Framework (ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, MVC) but no development , IIS (IIS6, IIS7), JEE (JMS, EJB) no development.
- Good knowledge with Spring, Apache 2.x, Jboss 4.x and PHP5 as a plus
- Application technologies; .net, powershell
- Experience with Solaris 10 and Unix would as a plus
- Excellent English skills (corporate language)
- German Skills as a plus
- Distributed application management
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience of software development lifecycle methodologies and principles
- Driven, robust, self-motivated, delivery focused and able to withstand 24/7 pressure, and to challenge and be challenged
