We are currently looking for a Finance Reporting Manager to join a large Financial Services Client based in Norwich.

Duration: 5 Months
Location: Norwich
Rate: Daily contract rate
Role:
* Provision of information and reports to the UK Board and to Group to support both internal performance management processes and external reporting cycles.
* The role sits within a small team that has expertise in ensuring that reporting represents latest perspectives, information and is relevant to the needs of the various audiences.
* The team is highly dynamic, responding to continuous change, and operates in a co-operative, flexible and adaptable manner.
- Some specific key deliverables include:
* Provision of monthly and quarterly reporting to Group of progress versus plan and prior year, along with key business drivers.
* Producing quarterly Performance Management Meeting reports for the CEO, providing insightful commentary on business performance and opportunities, risks and issues for all aspects of the business, including financial, customer, people, risk and regulatory.
* Supporting preparation of slides and briefing materials for the various ad-hoc purposes, eg analyst days, broker meetings, etc.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong commercial and strategic awareness
* Good understanding of the insurance business, and the needs of stakeholders (internal and external)
* Strong analytical and interpretive skills
* Strong communication skills - written and verbal
* Capacity to assess MI and where appropriate recommend further investigation and actions
* Good Powerpoint skills.
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
* Sound technical accounting skills (accountancy qualification)
