Volt are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Planning Analyst working for a leading technology firm based in Dundee.
Position Summary
This position is required as maternity leave cover within the Europe Sales Region planning team. The position supports the Europe Sales CFO in providing timely, and accurate financial information to the European Sales VPs and other members of the European Sales LT.
Key areas of Responsibility
-Preparation of area level European outlook packs
-Consolidation of European Outlook
-Preparation of supporting outlook reporting around Expenses, OCOR.
-Management of FX Reporting and distribution of FX templates
-Assist in the monthly close process for the sales region, preparation of journal vouchers, analysis of key variances, etc.
-Assist in the annual planning process, consolidation of plan, preparation of templates etc.
-SCP Attainment reporting, and resolution of SCP queries
-Expenses actuals reporting against plan.
-Other adhoc project and analysis as required.
Education and Experience Preferences
- Experience in a Financial Planning role
- Degree in a Accounting, Finance or business discipline
- Must be an advanced user of excel.
- Experience working with Business Objects, HFM, Oracle ERP
- Good basic accounting knowledge, with the ability to understand, and communicate complex financial information to non financial managers
- Candidate should be flexible, and be used to coping with multiple deadlines, especially at month and quarter ends.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
