For our customer we are looking for a skilled and self going EMC verification engineer.

The customer is shaping the future of Mobile and Broadband Internet communications through its continuous technology leadership. Providing innovative solutions in more than 140 countries, the customer is helping to create the most powerful communication companies in the world.

The RBS Node Verification department is responsible for RBS 6000 products for LTE, WCDMA, GSM and Multi standard. This includes maintaining highest possible quality on products in field and to develop new radio base stations in close cooperation with Product management. The RBS Characteristics unit, is expanding to be able to take on assignments for the next mobile generation products, standards and technologies.

Our world-class mobile systems are constantly evolving. We are now looking for one creative and innovative EMC verification engineer with a genuine interest for technology that can help us prepare for future demands.

You will be responsible for performing EMC verification on LTE, WCDMA and GSM on RBS 6000.

The work is based in Stockholm but you will have the opportunity to travel to our 3rd party test houses. In return, you will gain experience in cutting-edge technology in an international environment that inspires you to develop.

Qualifications

The main tasks and responsibilities for this position are:

EMC preparation and verification according to the requirements on the RBS product

Perform FCC Radio tests

Participate in development of test methodology and test environment design

Be the customers customer representative at 3rd party test houses.

Participate in pre-studies and investigations

Write verification documentation ie verification specifications and test reports

Verify product behavior and characteristics.

Identify and report faults

Be updated on the products and features to be verified

Participate in the development of the verification process

The assignment start date is from the 1st of April (or best offer) and for a minimum of three month with a high possibility for extension.
