Description
This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate contract-to-hire opening for a Senior Software Engineer. Will be responsible for design, development, testing, deployment and support of enterprise applications. Will work with project managers, business analysts, and quality control analysts to develop scope, ensure requirements are met, and support testing efforts. Will provide technical oversight and coaching to junior developers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, software engineering, or information systems).
6+ years of software development experience in an enterprise environment, including experience with PHP, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft .NET 4.0, WCF Web Services, WCF Data Services and ASP.NET MVC 3.
Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture and design, including n-tier systems and object-oriented principles.
Ability to design and develop PHP applications using OOP techniques.
Must have knowledge of Linux, Windows, Shell Scripting, cron-jobs, and SQL.
Experience with XML, SOAP, WSDL, and AMF.
Experience with Zend Framework, Zend Library.
Prefer familiarity with jQuery, HTML5, CSS2 and other current web technologies.
