My client, a leading Government department has a new opportunity for a Knowledge Manager to support and maintain their enterprise knowledge management tools - Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian Jira.
Your secondary duties would include support/maintenance of small business systems written in Cold Fusion, and general support of web-based systems.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skill set and experience:
Knowledge Management
o Previous experience with the technical administration, support and maintenance of Atlassian Confluence Wiki;
o Previous experience with workflow design and coding in Atlassian Jira, plus the technical administration, support and maintenance of the software.
o Extensive, demonstrated experience with administration and support of an Enterprise Wiki and also Issue Management software, with a demonstrated capacity to successfully transfer this knowledge to the RMS environment.
Programming
o Since Atlassian Confluence and Jira are both developed in Java, a sound knowledge of Java and intermediate level programming skills are considered essential;
o Exposure to Cold Fusion Programming Language would be useful but not essential
Web Technologies
A sound knowledge and experience in web-based technologies is mandatory to support/maintain the IT solutions deployed via a web browser.
These will include:
o HTML4/5, XHTML, CSS2/3 (PERL and PHP are desirable but not mandatory skills)
o Content Management Systems (Teamsite and Drupal experience highly desirable but not mandatory)
o Open Source Database administration skills for MySQL and/or PostGreSQL
o Web Server Administration - LAMP Stack and Solaris skills are desirable but not mandatory.
