Are you a seasoned Program Manager with top of the line, hands-on experience in F#? Have you lead projects where the deliverable was the compiler for a programming language? Are you fluent in and able to code in Silverlight & HTML5 in the open source field?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop plans and programs to manage all aspects of research/development program.
Develop effective plans to interface with leading academics and researchers across the globe to change the paradigm of functional programming.
Establish and maintain partnerships across the primary contracting group and various product groups.
Skillfully and appropriately manage expectations and negotiate deliverables with customers demonstrating flexibility and political astuteness.
Contribute, in all areas, to the growth and improving the customer's products.
Exercise good judgment in analysing, appraising, evaluating and solving problems of a difficult procedural, organizational, administrative or technical nature and do the right thing under stress and tight deadlines.
Act decisively and make sound and timely decisions in the face of uncertainty and with limited information.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
F#, Silverlight and HTML 5 coding skills required. (However, this is not a coding position)
Previous software Compiler project experience.
MS FTE, V- or A- experience required.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and Program Management skills are required.
Proven ability to drive feature development and cross-functional teams.
Baccalaureus degree in Computer Science or related field is a requirement.
Previous experience in an early adopter, beta, TAP or CTP program a requirement.
PMP Certification is beneficial.
Solid knowledge of different development life cycles and methodologies is a benefit.
