Description
This Dallas based industry leader has an immediate 18+ month contract opening for a Senior Java Web Developer. Will use Java/Java Swing to develop web service applications. Will work with other developers, Front End designers, product managers, and performance engineers to develop new ideas for process and products. Will promote exceptional software design and quality while working with technical leads and architects. Will create new features front to back as part of a team, and identify and resolve issues with the existing architecture and code.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with Java, Web Services, HTML, Java Swing, and UML.
Understanding of Java web applications and Servers.
Experience with Gap Analysis, Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases.
Relational Database experience (preferably Oracle).
Solid verbal communication skills.
Experience with Agile and/or Lean software development methodologies.
