Are you a Technical Business Analyst with solid Windows 7 Imaging experience? If the answer is yes, one of Sydney's largest finance companies is looking for you...

This Windows 7 project will develop a new Windows 7 Image prototype to be used for as the standard operating environment. The SOE prototype image will be designed, built, tested and deployed to a pilot group.

The Snr Tech BA will be required to gather requirements and develop the required SDLC documentation.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:   

  • Provide effective communication and liaison with business stakeholders, business solutions managers, software developers, infrastructure engineers and end users
  • Develop Scope 
  • Analyse and document traceable requirements (Business, Stakeholder, Solution, and Transition) 
  • Manage requirements through-out the project life cycle 
  • Employ learned techniques in Business Analysis, and deep understanding the tasks owned by Business Analysts, to deliver high-quality outcomes and expertise in project delivery   
  • Interpret business user needs and clarify the project objectives
  • Ensure that end-to-end Requirements Management is performed in accordance to standards defined
  • Review solution designs and perform gap analysis against business and technical requirements documentation
  • Create supporting process documentation 
  • Employ techniques and tools in data analysis and Datamodelling
  • Verify that requirements are covered in full as part of the test phase of a project; review and input to test documentation
  • Employ understanding of analysis techniques to model requirements
  • Assist Change Management in review of training documentation and communications 
  • Work with project teams & key stakeholders to complete post implementation reviews to identify opportunities for learning and revisions to process/technology
You should have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, working within IT Infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills; strong ability to converse with both end-users and Technology staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to present, discuss application life cycle and capture data through workshops and 1:1's
  • Ability to engage with senior/exec management
  • blue chip/banking infrastructure project experience
  • Infrastructure deployment 
  • Desired industry experience includes Banking, Network, IT Infrastructure, interface analysis, database connectivity, Grid services
