 IT Graduate/Service Desk Analyst

This helpdesk role will get you up to speed with the most commonly used technologies, build your experience and provide you with the foundations to launch your IT career.Not only will you learn from some of the most experienced IT professionals in Australia, our company is a well known financial institution looking for an enthusiastic and eager Graduate to come aboard.

Skills & experience
  • Recognised relevant qualifications in Information Technology or similar area;
  • We are looking for GRADUATES with a Computer science/IT related degree.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receives and logs requests for support from service desk
  • Prioritises requests in accordance with agreed criteria and needs of the organisations
  • Investigates problems and other requests for support and determines appropriate actions (system modifications, work-around's, enhancements, data manipulation, operating procedures, training etc.)
  • Monitors progress of requests for support
  • Carries out routine configuration/installation and reconfiguration of hardware and software
  • Installs and commissions desktop systems and their routine upgrades
  • Provides information on updates, known errors, changes in availability new facilities etc.
  • Uses appropriate systems, tools, and documentation to maintain the hardware/software register
