This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 18+ month contract opening for a Mac Server Administrator in Wilmington, DE. Will perform server administration and maintain the client applications. Will require working some nights and weekends. Will need to be quick learner and able to work without supervision. Will support third party server applications. Must be able to think critically, have great attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to consistently perform routine tasks and find ways to automate them.

Requires strong knowledge of Apple hardware, fibre channel equipment, RAID systems, and RAID concepts. Must have experience administering Apple Xserves and large RAIDs. In-depth knowledge of Mac OS is a plus. Must be experienced and comfortable with UNIX command line. Must have Shell or other Scripting experience. Prefer experience integrating Macs in large enterprise. Prefer experience with InstaDMG, Puppet, and Casper. Should have experience in: ACLs, Directory Services, LDAP, Kerberos, SSL Certificates/PKI, Active Directory, Mac OS X Filesystem, Network Analysis/Troubleshooting, advanced troubleshooting skills, DNS Concepts, Apache and Tomcat configuration and administration. Should be familiar with security best practices for hardening the Mac OS X/Unix.
