Gulf Connexions is actively assisting a world leading Airline in the search for a seasoned Solution Architect with enterprise level project experience in IT Infrastructure. The Airline is presently undergoing an IT restructuring and is eager on speaking to key specialist consultants. This role operates on a rolling 6 month contract pays a handsome monthly rate.
Title: Solution Architect (Lead)
Location: Hong Kong
Contract Duration: 6 months (rolling)
Purpose:
To contribute to the achievement of the Airline's IT business objectives by focusing the Enterprise Architecture viewpoints on high level design of large scale strategic program and project specific solutions, and ensuring adherence to Enterprise Architecture strategies, frameworks and standards at the program and project level.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with middle managers and senior analyst so to explore business demand at pre-prioritization stage
- Design of end-to-end solution architecture for programs (multiple related projects) or large-scale strategic projects (related to IT Infrastructure solutions)
- Collaborate with Business Domain Architects to plan for and deliver key capabilities of the business domain architectural blueprints
- Work with the Chief Architect to define and establish Solution Design and Architecture Governance models, structures and processes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 4 years hands-on project solution architecture experience in large scale strategic programs or projects
- Expertise in IT architecture design, solutions, and deployment for enterprise-level programs and projects for multinational companies
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or Client Server systems
