Description

The Royal College of Art is the only wholly postgraduate institution of university status devoted to the study of art, design, humanities and communication. As School Administrator you will provide secretarial support for the Dean of the School and other academic staff, and be the first point of contact for the school. You will co-ordinate the provision of information to the College's central administration and fulfil administration requirements for the History of Design Programme, to include typing, databases, spreadsheets, and student enquiries.

You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, substantial administrative experience and excellent organisational skills, together with minute-taking skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Experience of working in higher education and/or an interest in contemporary art and design would be an advantage.

This appointment is full-time for a year to cover maternity leave.
