Must live within the Austin, Texas metropolitan area
Position Summary:
To review, analyze, plan, modify and develop retail applications and supporting programs including: encoding, testing, debugging and documenting. Provide technical support to project team members. Handles the design of complex application features and technical designs; implements the components as required.
Position Responsibilities:
Ability to discuss architecture and present technology to customers.
Gather technical requirements from customers.
Design, develop, plan and document company's Retail Applications.
The translation of customer requirements into gap analysis documentation and work orders.
Liaise with colleagues in other countries to promote the development of international solutions.
Prepare individual developer work packages, by preparing documentation, flowcharts, layout diagrams, charts, code comments and UML when appropriate.
Prepare and maintain documentation pertaining to program systems operation and development.
Role Qualifications:
The individual accepting this position must have advanced abilities using Java technology suite, Microsoft technology suite, Source code control software, Microsoft office products, and other programming languages such as C/C++.
Strong customer focus and genuine desire to assist.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
