NERC CIP Security Analyst - Charlotte, NC- 5 month
Candidate will be responsible for performing NERC CIP vulnerability assessments, educating the client on the inherent risks, and providing meaningful hardening and mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Network penetration tests, and logical security audits, and hands-on technical security evaluations and implementations.
Conduct network penetration tests
Conduct logical discovery of networks
Conduct logical security audits and hands-on technical security evaluations and implementations
Applicants selected will be subject to an extensive background check and must meet eligibility requirements for access to NERC CIP information.
Required:
Network Penetration Testing.
Vulnerability Detection and Remediation.
NMAP expertise
Network Switching and Routing (Cisco).
Preferred:
5+ years of experience in information security with specific penetration testing experience. Working knowledge of TCP/IP ports and protocols.
In depth familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems.
Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Nessus, nmap, vulnerability scanning tools, tcpdump, wireshark, Nikto, etc.
Familiarity with Scripting in UNIX Shell, PERL, or Python. CISSP
