Description
1. Telco Processes-Understanding and application of Telco operational processes at a generic level. Use of eTOM process framework. Expertise in process decomposition.
2. Solution Architecture-
1. Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and proposesolution that will be able to meet the requirements.
2. Identify the design areas and the integration point between these areas (atleast few of the designareas). Effectively track the integration points in the design to ensure there are no omissions.
3. Work with the design team to realize the architecture byproviding suggestions on design options.
4. Review and validate the designdecisions taken by the design teams.
5. Work with client architecture teams in- defining overall solution architecture - procure the enterprise standardsthat need to be followed - validate the non-functional requirements
6. Presentthe architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required.
7. Workingexperience with common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)
8. Must have worked inatleast one medium complex architecture
3. Industry Frameworks-
Applied knowledge on any TMF's standards Framworks (eTOM, SID, NGOSS, TAM,OSS/J etc) as part of project. Certification on TMF standards frameworkdesirable.
4. MPLS-General idea about L2 switching and L3 routing Familiarity cell based/connection oriented packet switching
5. MPLS Network-Theoretical understanding of various network elements in MPLS architecture.Basic understanding of MPLS network concepts, able to use show commands, VRFping Trace commands etc. Ability to differentiate Peer-to-Peer VPN and MPLSArchitecture, etc. Should be able to use basic Show and Debug commands on network. Ability to carry out basic Troubleshooting using IP VRF ping and tracecommands.
