Reconciliation Analyst/Consultant

Location: Brussels, Paris and Luxemburg
Languages: French and English, Dutch is an asset
Due to reorganization, the activities of reconciliation between risk position and accounting on market activities must be transferred to the Group Credit Risk Reporting steering center. Before reviewing and reorganizing the activity, we need to perform it as from Q1 2012.
Based on an Access data base, it is a work of reconciliation between positions reported by Markets Back Office and positions accounted in accounting systems. Even if it is based on quarterly closing, the job must not respect quarterly closing planning as discrepancies need to be corrected before the next closing. The work requires files and Access data base management, contacts with local risk and accounting teams, good knowledge of financial markets products. The mission must start with a knowledge transfer organized in Paris.
The client is looking for a Junior/medior profile with some experience and knowledge. Ideally, this person has a background in Financial Markets products and reconciliation topics.
Technical knowledge mandatory: Xls, access, BO
