Description
A Procurement and Administration Officer with a DV Clearance is required by a Secure Government Agency in London. This is required to develop the business support capability for services for the Olympics.
Summary of Role:
* Will play a key role in ensuring the project meets business, schedule and budget objectives
* Initial focus will be in the identification and development of administration and procurement processes.
* Sourcing and purchasing goods required to deliver new projects as they emerge and maintain the sections ability to sustain business as usual activities.
* Close control of purchasing budgets, negotiations with suppliers ensuring schedules are met and preparing reports for upwards briefing
Responsibilities will include:
* Development of an administration system for the section that compliments its operational output and drives efficiency
* Provide a Project Support Function to the office and Project Managers
* Implementing new changes and procedures that come into the section
* Ordering and tracking the delivery of items to ensure they are passed to Project teams to meet deadlines
* Managing the office budget and preparing reports
* Reporting to Senior Managers on matters to do with the sections administration and procurement
