GREAT contract to perm opportunity with work with a leading company in the Automotive Industry.

Our client is looking for a C#/ASP.NET Developer to carry out the following responsibilities:

Develop new or maintain existing reusable software components based on specifications.
Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of components.
Participate in the design of new or changing components.
Participate in functional test planning and testing for components.
Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for components.
Share knowledge by effectively documenting work and training/advising other engineers how to best leverage components.
Stay current with changes in the technical area of expertise.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of IOL's functional component.
Work with the team to ensure the quality and consistency of components.
Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution.
Adheres to published coding standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years experience in Software Development.
2+ years experience C#/ASP.NET.
Agile
2+ years experience with SQL Server .
Visual Studio 2008, 2010.
Good knowledge of and experience with component oriented architectures, user interface design patterns, web technologies, and development methodologies.
Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to any given situation.
Good knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming.
Experience using automated unit testing technologies (nUnit, Selenium, etc.).
Possess basic project management skills to track all project work. 
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
Exceptional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience using configuration control and defect tracking tools (Subversion & Test Director).
Working knowledge of stored procedures with Microsoft SQL Server.
