A leading telecommunications giant based in Sydney's CBD is seeking a Senior Technology Specialist with previous experience in Java, Asset Management and of a Single Sign-On System. In this role, you will manage and lead the design, development and life cycle activities associated with the Access Management System of the organisation. To be successful in this role, you will previous experience analysing, designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining complex software solutions.Essential skills include:
- Strong experience in software development environments for high availability systems based on J2EE technology
- Proven commercial experience with Access Management systems, eg Sun Access Manager or Siteminder.
- Proven commercial experience with XML Security gateway product, eg Layer 7 SecureSpan Gateway.
- Experience in large 24x7 production system environments.
- Strong experience integrating web services in a Linux and/or Solaris environment
- Commercial experience with an ISP or E-commerce organisation.
- System administration experience in Unix Solaris.
- Some experience with Perl and Shell Scripting.
- Experience with Technical leadership at least at a project level.
- You will have current knowledge of software engineering standards, tools and best practices.
- Deep appreciation of platform architecture and technology, the process of software deployment, and environment management.
