Senior Business Analyst, Change, Edinburgh

My banking client based in Edinburgh requires strong business analysts to work on a major regulatory workstream to provide in depth analysis and guidance for major key stakeholders within the group. You will have worked in a major banking client and preferably in Retail banking. You must be BUSINESS focused have knowledge of process mapping, gap analysis and as is to be requirements. Knowledge of Microsoft project and applications is highly beneficial.
The candidate should have knowledge of the following:
Strong verbal communication skills and the wherewithal to communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders.
o Evidence of strong written ability.
o Emotional intelligence to work effectively within the team and with external parties to a high quality.
o Self starter with ability to think for themselves and deliver the requirement to the required level of quality without close supervision.
o Ability and rigour of approach to work within an ambiguous environment.
Skills :
Change Management or related Project Management experience with a proven ability to work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions.
Process modelling through the use of analytical tools and structured analytical techniques.
Understanding of Project Management Frameworks, documentation standards, Project Lifecycle planning.
Competent use of project tools eg MS Project.
Competent use of Microsoft Office.
