Description
Alpharetta based consulting firm is seeking a Senior Consultant/Project Manager who will lead Data Management and Data Integration projects throughout all phases of the SDLC. This Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. This is an immediate need for a 3+ month contract with potential extend or go permanent for the right Project Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating the implementation of system applications through all phases of the systems development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and evaluation. Ensuring conformance with work requirements, interpreting policies, procedures, and goals and objectives of the work assignment. Leading projects from original concept through final implementation. Defining project scope and objectives. Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducting project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Recommending and taking action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Coordinating work effort with all parties to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Reviewing work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to design concepts and user requirements. Managing project financials to provide accurate forecasting; maintain comparison of baseline vs. actuals and be able to communicate earned value to customer.
